Excitement Builds For New ‘Tyram Lakes’ 4 Star Eco-Hotel Complex After Planning Approval Granted
‘Rothgen Group development looks to redefine eco-tourism for South Yorkshire’
Doncaster South Yorks, Wednesday 9th January 2019: UK-based development firm ‘Rothgen Group’ has announced the successful planning approval of its latest innovative hospitality venture – the Tyram Lakes eco-hotel complex in Lindholme.
The first of its kind, this eco-friendly development will see the construction of a four-star hotel complex, offering high-end facilities for functions, conferences and weddings in addition to 104 luxury bedrooms, a restaurant and full health spa amenities. The Tyram Lakes hotel will form the second phase of a wider development in the area, which has to date garnered unanimous support from Doncaster Council’s planning committee.
Designed exclusively around an eco-friendly and sustainable concept, the developers and Doncaster Council are looking forward to Tyram Lakes quickly establishing itself as the premier eco-tourism destination in South Yorkshire, whilst raising the profile of nearby vulnerable sites such as the Humberhead Peatlands and Hatfield Moor National Nature Reserve.
Experts in the field of innovative developments, the Rothgen Group has worked closely with planners and consultants to ensure Tyram Lakes is positioned at the very forefront of sustainable tourism in the UK. CEO, Alex Pearce commented:
“We’re thrilled to have received such strong support from the planning committee and we’re now eager to move on to the construction phase for Tyram Lakes. We’ve designed the whole complex around the premise of being ecologically sensitive and Tyram Lakes will be the UK’s first full scale eco-tourism destination.”
Alex continued: “The surrounding areas and landscape offer some of the UK’s most unspoilt areas for people to visit. Tyram Lakes will not only attract more visitors to the area, but will also boost the local economy with an uplift in related employment opportunities. Further phases to the development (which are at planning stage) aim to include 75 lakeside eco-lodges and 200 woodland retreat cabins, off Gate Wood Lane.”
